Audley Developments Polska exchanges contracts to sell a 3,000 m2 retail scheme in Raciborz, southern Poland, to Portico Investments, a Hungarian-registered real estate investor and developer.

August 2011

Audley Developments Polska has secured a site in Nowy Targ, southern Poland, for the development of a retail park subject to planning consent which is expected in the first quarter of 2013.

May 2011

Audley has exchanged contracts to buy a 1.5 acre site in Bishops Stortford and will shortly submit a planning application for a mixed-use scheme comprising a discount foodstore at ground floor with 14 flats above.

Audley Developments Polska secures a 3 ha site in Kluczbork for the development of a 10,000 m2 retail scheme anchored by Tesco Polska.

Jeremy Heath BSc MRICS has joined Audley from Matthews & Goodman where he was a partner. Jeremy's has over 20 years' experience in the property development market having completed schemes with operators such as Tesco, Lidl, Travelodge, Premier Travel Inn, Accor and Porsche Cars GB. Such experience will be invaluable as the company looks to expand its sphere of operations in the UK.

Audley Developments Polska, the Polish subsidiary of Audley Holdings Ltd , has secured its first development site in Belchatow, Central Poland. The proposed development will include approximately 15,000 square meters of new retail space and discussions are underway with a number of international operators. Audley expects to secure planning permission early in 2009 and start on site later in the year. This acquisition marks the start of an ambitious expansion programme in Poland where Audley is considering a number of other new development opportunities.

March 2007
Audley has formed a new company in Poland called Audley Developments Polska. A new office has been opened in Krakow and two new Polish staff members have been appointed. The company is targeting new retail development projects throughout Poland and Managing Director Peter MacLean commented that ‘this is just the beginning of an exciting new venture for Audley having identified considerable potential to utilise its extensive UK experience in an emerging market. We are confident that we can succeed in Poland and extend our development activities to other European countries in the future’.

Wickes enjoyed the highly successful opening of their new 53,000 sq ft ‘Extra’ store developed by Audley Developments in Swindon. This is the fifth store that Audley has developed for the operator in the UK which demonstrates the strong relationship between the two companies and the considerable mutual advantage to be derived from working closely together.
